Mosaic

John Stewart is a good character.  I won't say great, because that would just be lying.  The fact is, all he knows is sorrow.  He killed this, that, and everything else.  However, if any of you didn't know, there was ONE story where he actually did something about it- that story was called Mosaic.  Api Alla Apsa (sp?), a Guardian, is depressed and lonely.  So, he creates a world with little pieces of other worlds- a mosaic world.  Of course, this is bad, because family, etc.  So, John Stewart, Hal Jordan, and Guy Gardner go up to Oa and kick his ass into next week.  Now, this is where your average comic would end.  However, John, showing a great amount of character, saw the world as an opportunity for the separate worlds to coexist.  So, he pretty much polices the world and helps it- essentially as a God.  Sinestro is even in it, as he tries to manipulate the world for his own evil things.  Unfortunately, the series was marked for cancellation at only issue 5.  The series has record sales and great fan support, however, DC felt that it didn't meet their "feeling."  With the reboot, this is a perfect chance to somehow undo the destruction of the Mosaic world and put John in his rightful place- a GREAT character in a great monthly series.
